ルサジカ

ルサジカ（英：Rusa Deer もしくは Javan Rusa 、学名：Rusa timorensis [1][2]）は、鯨偶蹄目シカ科に属する中型のシカ[1][3]。サンバーによく似ており、かつては同種とされていた[3]。

分布

ルサジカは主に、ジャワ島やスマトラ島、スラウェシ島やバリ島、フローレス島などのインドネシアの諸島に分布する[3]。

亜種

ルサジカは以下の7つの亜種が認められている[4]。

R. t. timorensis (Timor rusa deer) – ティモール島
R. t. djonga – ムナ島とブトゥン島
R. t. floresiensis (Flores rusa deer) – フローレス島と他の島々
R. t. macassaricus (Celebes rusa deer) – スラウェシ島
R. t. moluccensis (Moluccan rusa deer) – モルッカ諸島
R. t. renschi – バリ島
R. t. russa (Javan rusa deer) – ジャワ島
