来歴
主にフランスで活動している。 ニューヨーク出身。ニューヨーク市立大学で学び、アメリカ陸軍に入隊しドイツとフランスに駐在。除隊後、パリのソルボンヌ大学で学び、更に絵画を学ぶようになる。
ブレやボケなどの大胆な手法を用いて都市生活を捉えたストリート写真で世界的に評価され、ファッション誌『ヴォーグ』などで活躍した[2]。
